Dhaka college is one of most popular colleges in Bangladesh. It is also one of the earliest educational institute in Bangladesh. It has been established in 1841 by Dr. James Taylor who was Civil Surgeon at Dhaka at that time. It is also considered as very earlier higher educational institute. Dhaka college is located at near New-market, Science-lab and Nilkhet in Dhaka. Another popular college near to Dhaka college is Dhaka City College, also called as only 'City College'.

Dhaka College offers 4 years BBS honors, 4 years BBA and one year Masters program along with various educational programs too. It also offers H.S.C. level education. The teachers of this glorious college are so experienced and skilled. Several thousand of students are getting opportunity for studying at Dhaka college.

Besides, Dhaka college is connected to Bangladesh National University.
